Paw Paw Early Childhood Center
When it comes to early childhood education, a well-designed physical environment can have a huge impact! At the new Paw Paw Early Childhood Center, slated to open in fall of 2025, the expert design team has paid special attention to even the smallest details. The placement of the sinks, fixtures and toilets are all at age-appropriate heights and depths. The choice in wall colors, furnishings, flooring materials, tile and accent colors have also been part of an intentional plan. Soft blues and greens promote focus during lessons, yellow captures children’s attention, and soft pink is calming. The net result of creating a well-designed and age-appropriate physical environment can significantly improve learning by promoting engagement, positive social interaction, and overall development. Paw Paw Early Elementary: 2 classroom addition
At Paw Paw Early Elementary addition, the installation of doors, hardware and fire alarm devices, as well as ceiling tile installation and floor tile installation have kept crews busy over the last month.
Paw Paw Later Elementary: 2-Classroom Addition
Now that the roof, masonry work, windows and doors have all been installed, the exterior of the 2-classroom addition looks like it has always been there. Inside, crews are busy with installation of the storage cabinets, countertops, drinking fountains, ceiling fixtures, tile work, and much more. The mechanical unit start-up phase is also underway. Inspecting system components, activating the power supply, and initiating the start-up of the system is key to proper testing and functionality. Once that’s done, it's all about fine-tuning the system settings and running the system to ensure all components function correctly.
