Early Childhood Center
Families looking for high-quality early childhood education are getting excited to enroll their preschool-aged children in Van Buren County’s newest, state-of-the-art Early Childhood Center! Slated to open for the 2025-2026 school year, this stand-alone modern educational center with a caring and dedicated staff is conveniently located on the same campus as Paw Paw Early and Later Elementary schools. This central location saves time and hassle for parents with children in multiple grades. Not only are all the classrooms flooded with natural light but once inside the building, the color-coded paths throughout the hallways and into each classroom make it easy and fun for preschoolers to find the way! Early Elementary
At Paw Paw Early Elementary School’s 2-classroom addition, crews are busy installing ceiling tiles, completing paint touch-ups and installation of storage cabinets, shelving and countertops. With secure and convenient access to the rest of the school, the integrated new 2-classroom addition is close to the cafeteria and overlooks the playground.
Later Elementary
The 2-classroom addition at Paw Paw Later Elementary is another point of pride for the district. These two new classrooms are conveniently located at the north end of the campus, adjacent to the Early Childhood Center, parent parking and drop-off/pick-up areas with easy, secure access to the playground and the rest of the school. Crews are working on roughing in the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems as they prepare for roofing installation, metal studs and drywall. Also, a coat of paint is planned soon, which will transform this space!
