Early Childhood Center
From the moment children walk through the front entrance into the spacious, light-filled reception area featuring organic shapes and neutral tones, they’ll feel right at home! Keeping track of outerwear, boots, backpacks and other personal items is always a big challenge for small children, so the custom-built open cubbies in spacious mudrooms are a terrific solution! Other items installed recently are the projection white boards, featuring vertical, rather than horizonal, orientation; an optimal position that places the white boards within easy reach for preschoolers. Another impressive feature in this state-of-the-art building is the HVAC system. The individual climate controls in each room allow the staff to adjust the temperature to their personal preferences.
Early Elementary
With the windows installed and the other exterior openings sealed to keep out winter weather, crews can focus on interior projects, such as installing the ceiling grid, running the electrical wiring, and the mechanical finishes at Paw Paw Early Elementary School’s 2-classroom addition.
Later Elementary
On the exterior, the seamless integration of masonry work is wrapping up on the 2-classroom addition at Paw Paw Later Elementary. As crews continue to work around unpredictable winter weather, the next phase is to start roofing!
